KIBO was born from the shared aspirations of Japanese parents living in the multicultural city of Montreal, Canada.
"How can we help children growing up abroad naturally embrace Japanese language and culture as part of their identity?"
In seeking answers to this question, we arrived at the idea of creating a "special learning environment" tailored to children learning Japanese as a heritage language.
